Funny Things That Happen

This is what Dallon looks like when he is talking to his dad. It is so funny. He acts like he is older and deepens his voice. I laugh so hard. He acts like he is having an adult conversation. He thinks that his dad can see through the phone. So, if he wants to show him something he turns the phone to face the object and say see dad.

This is Todd sporting his new sweatpants that Rick got for him at Prudhoe Bay. Dallon already had a pair so now Todd has a pair.

This is what happens when Dallon isnt supervising the playing going on in his room. Todd had all the tools out and was shaking the tool box to see what else he could get.

Raking Leaves

The boys and I raked leaves today so we could fill out pumpkin bags. Dallon was very anxious to do it. Last year he wouldnt have anything to do with it. He screamed when we sat him in the pile. Well, this year I couldnt keep him or Todd out of the pile. I raked the leaves more than I should have. But, we got the leaves rake. Since they havent all fallen yet, we didnt have enought for two bags, so we took some of the neighbors. He was thrilled. Next year Todd and Dallon can rake the leaves by themselves and I wont have to help.

MY GIANTS

So they may not be giants, but in clothes too small they sure look like it. The other day I layed out the boys clothes and told Dallon to get dress. He was busy talking to Daddy and not paying attention to whose clothes he was putting on. He got Todd's jeans on all the way before he realized it. Well, just to be funny he buttoned (yes buttoned them) them up and ran around. Mind you, he wears a 4T and Todd wears 18 months. It was pretty funny. Well, then he found Todd's hat that they gave us at the hospital. Dallon thought it was pretty funny to put it on Todd. So, here are pictures of my GIANTS.

The Morning After

On Saturday night, we had my sister come up and babysit the boys while we went out with Chris and Sam. Mind you, I havent really gone out in a while without having to worry about they boys and getting up with them. But, Saturday night, I figured Rick could worry about them. Well, I had a great time and I drank way too much. Rick decided to pay my sister more if she would just stay the night with they boys. So, all in all, she made $40. Maybe I should have been the babysitter. I felt like crap all day on Sunday and blamed it on Sam. All they could do was laugh at me. None of them have really seen me at my finest in a long time. They thought it was funny. A lot of our friends from Kamiah were at the bar too. It was so great to see some old friends. Anyways, these are picture of the boys the next morning. Rick and Chris really never got up. They lounged around all day. But, they had Dallon to entertain in the afternoon. I dont think the two little boys let them rest much.

Thanks Chris and Sam for such a great time. We will have to do it again.....maybe....I dont know if I can handle it.

Halloween Time!!!

This week we started to prepare for Halloween. Rick wont be home so I thought it would be fun if the boys carved the pumpkins. They had a blast. I baked them some pumpkin seeds while they were carving. Dallon absolutely loves them. Todd sat in his high chair and screamed at them since he couldnt help. Yesterday, I put them in their Halloween shirts and we took a pumpkin to Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Skip. They loved it. Dallon had to show Grandma how to carve a pumpkin. He went into great detail. It was very funny. As for Halloween costumes, you have to wait till Halloween to see them. Dallon is very cute in his.

He Crawls, He Screams, He Terrorizes!!!!

Todd finally decided that he can crawl around. So now we are chasing him because it doesnt take quite as long for him to get to places now. He has also figured out how to start to pull himself up. This is lots of fun. I am constantly telling him to get out of there and he is hearing the word NO alot. He loves the sound of his voice also. He has screaming matches at the top of his lungs. Dallon isnt quite as loud as Todd, but it is enough to give a person a headache. I tell him to be quiet and he looks at me and smiles and then continues to scream. Yep, he is my noisy child. So, what does he terrorize besides for Dallon. Well, I am not sure my plant can take another dumping. He pulled it over twice in one week. Lucky me. What a mess to clean up. I moved the plant thinking he wouldnt find it. It was a hard place to roll to. Well, since he decided to crawl. He found the plant. I give it another week before he pulls it over before I can catch him. My sweet little boy is now a sweet little hellion!!! But hey you got a love them. They make life interesting.

My Little Wrestler

So, I got Dallon a card so he could go to wrestling practice every Monday and Wednesday night. He loves it, so I couldnt tell him no. I took him to practice on Wednesday night since my dad was going to be the only coach there. I had a great time watching him learn. The kid that he practices with is very good. He lets Dallon do the moves and they take turns. I think the other kid is in the 1st grade. They do a lot of giggling though. Rick gets to take him this week. It should be a fun experience for them.

Great Birthday

I just want to thank everyone for making my birthday so great. Thanks Chris and Sam for making me dinner and taking me to the bar for the drink. If you never have gone with Sam on karaoke night, you need to. That girl can really sing. I really appreciate the bbq that mom and dad had and the sewing machine they gave me. I guess another year down!!

Dallon Dallon Dallon

So what has Dallon been up to? Well, he is into all kinds of things. He is really enjoying doing preschool. He is always asking if we can do school work. This makes me happy and hopefully he will enjoy it all the way through high school. Wishful thinking, I know!!! He absolutely loves the art projects they are so much fun. Since he already knows alot about the farm and animals, he is enjoying learning more. He got to go to wrestling practice with my brother last night. He is not old enough to wrestle yet, but he can start learning moves. He loved the practicing on Chris and then came home to show me. He does very good. He really likes to play with all of his farm toys. My dad has a whole farm set with barn and tractors and he loves to set it up. Todd often gets yelled at for pulling it down, but what are brothers for. Everytime we go outside, he wants to play baseball. He is very good at throwing the ball, but is still trying to figure out how to make the bat meet the ball all the time. Sounds like we get to start t-ball next year along with wrestling. I dont know if I am ready for him to grow up so fast, but I guess I knew it was coming.

9 Months

Todd is 9 months old today!!! He is getting bigger and bigger. He is turning into a little boy and not a baby any more. He is very talkative and a very loud yeller. He will yell back if you yell at him. Dallon and him play this game often. They are starting to fight more. It is mainly over toys, but I have noticed they dont like to really share me either. He is not into crawling. But, he can move around fast. He does this rolling then sitting up then roll some more. He gets where he wants to go. The second tooth on top finally cut through today. He has started to chew, but we are still practicing. Maybe a new tooth will help. He is definately a happy boy and has a great personality.

Just a reminder only 3 months till his birthday and CHRISTMAS!!!
