Toddy
So what is new with Toddy? He has decided that he can finally walk if he wants to. While we were in California, he would roam around the house. He can only stand up if he has something to hold on to, but once he gets there he walks. Every once in a while he loses his balance, but that is ok. Sometimes, he decides he can get there fastest if he crawls. He has a mind of his own and does what he wants. He did decide that he really doesnt like to sleep with mom and dad at night. Since we have been home, he has slept in his own bed all night. Yeah!!! If he is in bed with us he just tosses and turns. He also cut a tooth while we were down there. So now we are up to seven of those sharp things. And, not one I am proud of, but he throws some major tantrums when he doesnt get his way. It is not a pretty sight.
Pictures of the Kids
These are pictures of the kids with Marjie. There are some family pictures in here also. These were all taken at Marjies house.

California
So California didnt start out as sunny as we hoped. When we got there at 8:00 Wednesday night, it was about 60 degrees but cloudy. The next day was about the same. Although, I had a migraine, we took the boys to the park. On Friday, we just hung around until Rick flew in at 4:30. We had a nice dinner, Rick drank too much, and we went to bed. Saturday was the day that we had been waiting for. Rick went and got our rental car first thing in the morning. He kept telling me he was gonna get a mustang and he did. He was a little disappointed that it didnt have a V8 in it. Anyways, we went and cruised around for a bit and took the kids to the beach. The wind was blowing but it was still warm.
Around 4:30 we decided it was time to go to the Supercross Race. We went in the pits first and got some autographs and then we went and took our seats. We had awesome seats and could see all of the track. The opening show was awesome. James Stewart played Bon Jovi on guitar hero. I think that was the best part. There were alot of fire works and fire. The race was way cool but nothing like watching it on tv. They put 3 hours of racing into an hour show on tv. The traffic was pretty crazy getting out of there but we made it back exhausted. Sunday, Grandpa Dick invited everyone over for brunch so they could see all of us. It was nice to see everyone again. Monday, we took the Pacific Highway up the coast. It was raining but very beautiful to see the ocean. Too bad we couldnt put the top down. We went back to the house and watched movies and tv and relaxed.
Tuesday, we headed to Marjies house. She lives on a beautiful ranch outside of Ramona. It is about a 45 minute drive. Wednesday we enjoyed being outside at her house. It was about 60 degrees and sunny. Dallon gave us rides on the Kabota so we could see all of her property and check out all the animals. Rick and I decided that we would make BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp for her for dinner. It was a hit. Dallon helped Marjie do chores every night. He put the jammies (blankets) on the horses for her. On Thursday we headed for the zoo. It was about 75 degrees. Might I say it was warm. I got very sunburned. We had fun looking at the animals but we were ready to go. Stop to go shopping and then headed back Marjies house. It was night to sit down and relax. On Friday we headed back to Grandpa Dicks and went to the Aquarium. It was very cool. Both of the boys loved it. We went for a pizza dinner for our final evening with some more family. Saturday, we finally headed home. It was very nice to be there, but nice to be home. After typing this, it doesnt sound like we relaxed at all. (I will get the pictures on a slide show tomorrow).

It is That Time
So in the morning, we are off to SUNNY California. My sister in law Sam will be taking us to the airport in Spokane and we will land in San Diego around 8:00 tomorrow night. We will be there for 10 days. I already know we are going to the motocross races on Saturday, but beyond that who knows. Hopefully we will get to take the boys to Disneyland. No definate plans for that yet. But, be sure that when we get home there will be lots and lots of pictures and stories. See ya when we get home!!!

Dallon's Sleep Over
Dallon had his first sleep over and Grandpa Jerry's and Grandma Skip's. We went down on Friday afternoon to visit and he decided that he was gonna ask Grandma if he could stay the night. I was a little leary because he has never stayed there and I didnt know if he would actually stay the whole night. Well, Grandma said yes and boy was he ever excited. At about 3:00 he told me that I could go home now. I kept telling him that I would wait till he went to do chores before I left. Well, Grandma convinced him to call Grandpa Todd and see if he wanted to come down with his new puppy. That only distracted him for a few minutes and then he was ready for me to leave again. So, I packed up Toddy and home we came. Rick called at about 7:45 that night and I told him he needed to call Dallon. Well, Dallon was asleep long before Rick got to talk to him. I guess all the chores and being outside wore him out. The next morning I called him and he asked me if I was coming to get him. I asked if he wanted me to. He told me no. I said I would come down after lunch. Well, I got down there and he was crying and hiding because he didnt want me to come get him. We stayed for awhile and then I had to really convince him to leave. He didnt really want to, but he did. I think it was because I told him he could come back and stay again. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting Dallon stay and have a great time.
