He convinced Rick to put on a mask and they were pretending to be Spiderman. They gave one to Todd. But, since everything goes in his mouth, he ate his. That is why he is not in the picture. I wonder what phase will come next for Dallon.

Spiderman has INVADED!!!!
I think my house is getting taken over by Spiderman everything. Dallon got a ton of toys for his birthday. His loves them all and has them out everyday. Well, Dallon can convince Rick to pretty much do anything no matter how silly it is.

Dallons Birthday Party
We had Dallons birthday party on Saturday. No it wasnt his birthday, but Dad has to leave on Wednesday. He was so excited. Everything was Spiderman. Almost all of his presents were Spiderman. But, he did get a John Deere tractor and some hot wheels. He liked them just as much as everything else. There was a lot of swimming going on during the day. The kids were in and out of the pool. We had a bbq. And then we ate cake and opened presents. Once the presents were open, the kids were back in the pool. It didnt take long for the big kids to get in the pool. But, it was a tad chilly for us. What is it about little kids...dont they ever get cold? This morning I got all the presents out of the car. We had to open and assemble all of them. Yep, and we all enjoy playing with them. Thank you every one for making Dallons birthday so wonderful. He loves all of his presents.

Life While Dad is Home
So Rick has been home for a week. What have we done. Really, absolutely nothing!!! We have been really lazy around here. I have even taken pictures to prove it.
Dallon is so lazy that he had to lay down on Todd to rest.
If you didnt notice, they are in Dad's chair. Therefore, he had to relax on the couch.

And, you may think that I am really lazy. Todd did try Dallon's pop tart, but didnt like it. I really did feed him his breakfast.
And, NOPE, there are no pictures of me being lazy. Remember, I am the mom. Therefore, I have to do the house work and take care of everyone. Even though it is a 24/7 job and doesnt really pay that much (a few presents now and then---that will be another post that I am excited about) it is still the best job in the world.

The Circus
I took Dallon to the circus in Kooskia last night. He had such a great time. I figured it would be a way to buy some time until we had to go get Rick at the airport. We took my friend Jill and her daughter. I did leave Todd at home with my sister. It was way to hot for him and would have been too much. When we got to the circus, Dallon saw the elephants and then the ponies. It was so much that he was excited and running everywhere. We did have to have a chat that he needed to stay by my side. He convinced me that he needed to go down the huge slide. So, I let him. Then it was time to wait in line to go into the big top. He thought he needed cotton candy. Come to find out he does not like it. He told me it tasted like paper. When we got in the big top they had animal balloons to buy. So Dallon got a lion one. Then we sat down and watched the circus. He thought it was pretty cool. At intermission we went to the bathroom and then he rode the ponies. We went back into the big top and decided it was too hot to sit in there and he was getting tired and impatient. But, this is what I walked out with.

I guess it was a good trade off since the circus was getting really boring. Not the best circus I have been too, but good for his first I guess. So, while we were waiting for Jill and Tay, Dallon fell asleep. Here is a picture of the sleeping cat. He must have been exhausted since he really didnt wake up at the airport either.

Todd's Favorite Thing
So what is Todd's favorite thing these days? Well, if you couldnt guess. It is his food. He eats baby food three times a day and has bottles all day long I think. But, now that he has his first tooth. Yep that is right. He got his first tooth on Sunday. It is not in all the way but it is there and he bites. He now likes to eat the baby biscuts and drink his juice out of a sippy cup. Yesterday, I made cookies for Dallon and Todd sat in his high chair and ate away. I laughed and laughed. Most of the time he couldnt figure out if he wanted juice or his cookie. So, they were both in there at the same time. He is not a very clean eater. But, I will work on that. He really enjoys having fun while he eats. Even when I feed him. Here are some pictures from him eating a cookie and what dinner time looks like when we are done. Maybe we will let Dad have a try at it when he gets home. Haha!!!!

Lawn Mower Races!!!
Today we went to Nez Perce for the Lawn Mower Races. My brother raced a lawn mower in them. For the parade, they made the hood look like a red neck lawn mower. But, for the races the hood came off. My brother got first place!! It was so much fun.

HE SITS!!!!
Well, it happened. Todd finally decided he could sit on his own. Most of the time it is leaning on his hands and belly. But, he does sit straight up and look around. He reaches out to get his toys. There are still a few crashes. But he is doing good. Last night, Dallon and Todd played with Todd's toys. I dont know who was getting more enjoyment. Dallon or Todd.

6 Months Already
Todd had his six month checkup yesterday. Yep, 6 months already!!!! He weighed 19.2 pounds and was 27 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile for both. He is a big boy. The doctor said that he looks really good. He said he has a really strong back. This comes from him arching his back all the time to get out of his chair and from scooting across the floor on his back. He can roll over from his back to his belly, but hardly ever rolls from his belly to his back. Usually someone comes to his rescue and rolls him back over. He can sit for a little bit, but not too long. He does more leaning on his belly. He is eating 3 meals a day and drinking juice with his dinner. You would think that this would make for less bottles, but still the same about of bottles and still every 2 hours. He has started waking up at 4 for a bottle now too. I dont get it, but hopefully it doesnt last too long. He still has no teeth. The doctor said they are right there, so hopefully within the next couple of weeks. He has only been drooling for the past 4 months. He has a very loud voice. If you are not paying attention to him, he will let you know. He is pretty happy all the time. He has a great smile. I think him and Dallon will be great friends. He lets Dallon pretty much do anything to him and laughs at everything he does. This makes the rest of us laugh becuase his laugh is contagious. The bouncer is still his favorite. He will sit in it for at least an hour and bounce. He is coming around with the pool also. We got him a new floaty. As much as he kicks just laying on the floor, he can kick himself around the pool. It is kinda nice. We dont have to push him around. Well, another six months and Todd will be "1". Oh that is scary to think about.

Fourth of July Weekend
For the fourth, the kids and I went camping with my parents at Newsome. We left on Thursday afternoon and got back Sunday afternoon. Thursday was very hot and Todd was very crabby. It is not easy to cool down a baby when you are camping. But we managed and then the rest of the weekend wasnt as hot. We did a lot of four wheeling. Dallon loves to ride. He would ride 24 hours a day if we let him. He decided that he needed to do most of the driving when he was with my parents. They gave in and let him drive a little. He also wanted to try riding behind me. So, we rode down the road a little ways and he rode behind me and held on tight. It must not have been what he expected because he never wanted to do it again.
He did some fishing. He has one pole that has a woofle ball on it. That way he can fish whenever.
Then, he has another pole that he can use for fishing. Thank god for the woofle ball. We did get eaten alive by mosiqutos. And we watched a lot of movies. I am so glad my parents bought a generator. It kept Dallon busy for awhile in the evening.
