Silverwood

On Thursday, the boys and I headed to Post Falls to visit with my friend Stephanie and her two boys. We got up there in the afternoon and Cole and Dallon got to play. And, I finally got to hold baby Finn. He is so cute. In the evening we went and checked into the motel and took a nap. Then back to Steph's for dinner. After dinner we headed back to the motel to get jammies and wait to go pick up Rick at the airport. At midnight, he finally landed and we headed back to the motel to get some sleep before we headed for Silverwood the next day. We spent all day Friday at Silverwood. It was so much fun. Dallon was a brave boy and went on rides and got really wet. Thanks to Jennifer, Kim and Kerry for taking him all over the water park. Rick, Steph and the little boys and I did a lot of walking but got to ride on some of the rides. We had pizza that night at Stephs. Saturday we headed back to Steph and Riley's to hang out and stay the night. We spent some time in the Cabelas store for the boys. I was proud of Rick, he didnt spend a lot of money. We headed home Sunday afternoon. And tomorrow, I am taking Rick back to the airport so he can go back to work. Yep, short time home, but lots of fun.

Tattoos

Dallon got a thing of tattoos in one of his birthday cards. He thought they were really cool. I put it off for a while. But, he is pretty persistent. My gosh they were Spiderman so he really needed one. Well, I gave in and put one on his arm. Got it all on and the next thing I knew, he was rubbing it off. Couldnt figure out what he was doing, but he rubbed it. So, then we decided Todd needed one too. Not easy putting a tattoo on a little one. But, I got it done. After we got it all done, Dallon thought everyone needed a tattoo. But, I convinced him they were only for him and Todd. I guess today, we will be putting on more tattoos since the other ones are all gone.

Its All Fun and Games

So, around here it has been pure fun lately. Last Thursday, I took the boys to Clarkston to the aquatic center. We met my cousin Tonia and her two kids, Amy, Marlene, and my friend Trish and her two kids. I have not seen them in such a long time. It was really good to let the kids play and for us to catch up. It was a lot of fun there. Pretty sure I will be taking the boys back. Yep, and I forgot to take my camera in, so no fun pictures there. I have also been planning our trip to Silverwood this weekend. I had to remind Rick to change his plane tickets to fly into Spokane and work on finding a motel. Thank you Kimberlee for booking it. My sister and her boyfriend are going with us. We will be hanging out with my friend Stephanie and her family. And yes, I will remember my camera and take lots of pictures. While I have been franctically getting my house all clean, I hate to have it dirty when I leave and I always have it clean when Rick gets home, the boys have been playing well together. I just cant get over Dallon loves to share his toys and always plays with Todd. So, here are some pictures of the boys loving each other.

Gone Camping

This last weekend the boys and I went camping at Orogrande with my parents and aunt and uncle and cousins. It was a lot of fun. Dallon went up Friday morning and rode to Buffalo Hump with my dad. They went fishing, but I guess he only caught his cheek. When we got up there Friday night, Todd was very excited to see his brother. I guess they might be inseperable. On Saturday, we rode to Dixie. We ate lunch on the front porch of my father-in-laws cabin. It was a nice break before we rode back. Todd really enjoyed laying on the porch and giggling. On the way back, we stopped and picked huckleberries. Todd played in the road while Dallon ate the ones he picked. On Sunday, we rode to the Nixon rock. It was kind of a chilly ride, but we made it. Todd and Dallon love to ride so we keep them happy. Dallon rode his four-wheeler when we werent riding the big ones. Todd just giggled and played.

Happy Birthday Dallon!!!

Dallon turned 4 years old today. He is getting so big, I just cant believe it. Since we had already had his party, we went 4 wheeling with my parents today. We left for Newsome Creek at about 6 this moring and got home around 5. Then, we had some pizza. I think he had a good day. Since he got all of his presents early, I felt bad so I got him something he had been asking for. He wanted a Spiderman helmet to wear when he rides his bike. So, I had my sister pick one up and bring it with her tonight. He loves it because it also came with elbow and knee pads. Awesome!!! I told him he needed a skate board now. I also told him he needed to ask his dad for that. I will post a picture of him later with all his gear on. Oh wait, maybe he is wearing it to bed. Yeah right, he sleeps with me, no way would I let that in my bed!!

So, some stats. He weighs about 37 pounds and is 39 inches tall. He has learned to take a shower by himself. This is great. That way my bathroom doesnt turn it to a swimming pool. He is a very smart kid. I am going to homeschool him for preschool. That will be starting this week. He is very excited about it and is constantly asking when he can start. His main interest right now is Spiderman, but he also enjoys his John Deere tractors and farming equipment and his dad's helicopters. He is an awesome big brother. The best that any little brother could ask for. He makes sure that Todd is always alright. And, when he is playing he makes sure that Todd has a toy to play with too. His favorite food is tacos or cheese sandwich with mayo and mustard. Favorite pop is root beer. Favorite snack is anything with sugar and he can reach. Most of the time it is chocolate covered raisins.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLON, WE LOVE YOU!!!

7 Months!!

Todd is now 7 months old. It is hard to believe. Some days I feel like I just had him and other days it feels like he has been here forever. He has become a very big kid. He weighs 20 1/2 pounds. Some days that is hard to lug around. In the past month he has done quite a few new things. He can sit really well on his own. He also can sit up from laying on his back. Crazy I know, but he does it. He rolls all over the place. Never thought this would happen. He loves to sit and play with his toys or Dallons toys. Whichever is closer I guess. He has two teeth. Yeah!!! He is not very pleasant when he is cutting teeth. He doesnt eat much when they are coming in. And you know he likes his food, so it is catch up when he feels better. I, also, took away his pacifier 2 days ago. Yep, he is crabby. He is doing better than I thought, but we are losing some sleep. He is quite the talker these days too. Sometimes he just talks and talks and other times he sees how high he can scream. Rick worked on him to say dada while he was home and he says it. It was pretty funny cuz he would wake up in the moring and see Rick and say dada. Guess he wanted him to get up too. He is a pretty funny kid and keeps us laughing.
