Preschool Orientation

I took Dallon to preschool orientation yesterday. I dont think he slept the whole night before he was so excited. When he got up, he was very eager to get ready. Once he was dressed he told me I could just drop him off and then pick him up later. Well, that wasnt the way it was supposed to work yesterday. He kept saying lets go then. I told him after lunch. At 9:00 he said it was lunch time and he was ready to go. Finally 12:30 rolled around and we headed to the school. I have never seen him so excited. He walked in there like he ran the place. Met both of his teachers and loved them. He played for about 1/2 hour and I had to convince him it was time to go home. I dont think I have anything to worry about. I think he will be just fine in preschool. Can you tell he was excited in his picture.

Toddy Riding Molly

Toddy thought this was the best thing ever. He rode he quite a few times and he giggled and giggled.

Weekend Fun

This past weekend, Uncle Chris and Aunt Sam came to stay with us. On Saturday night, we went to the drive-in and watched Ice Age 3 and Transformers 2. On Sunday, the boys got in the pool to try to fix the hole. It was not the nicest day and it was pretty chilly. From the pictures, you can tell that Uncle Chris was the biggest wuss. He got cold. Then, the boys went golfing and the girls hung out and watched movies and did hair. The girl thing. It was kinda nice, cuz usually I do the boy things with them. That is what happens when you are out numbered. Then on Monday and Tuesday, Luke and Lynzie came up and spent the days with us. We went swimming, let the boys play outside, and the older boys went golfing. All four days, we ate lots of food and had tons of fun. It was nice to just hang out and have fun while Rick was home.

What can I say my boys like water. The first ones are from today at my parents house....it was 95 degrees. The last 2 were when Aunt Sam came and spent the day with us. The boys had a blast with her.

Camping Story

As promised here is the story:

On Friday morning, I took the kids to get their immunization shots. Yes, this is important. Dallon cried all the whole time he got them and then all the way to Cottonwood. We picked up the trailer with the 4-wheelers. Then, my dad took Dallon and Kerry with him and I took Kim and Toddy with me and we headed up to Oro Grande. Dont know if Dallon cried the whole way or not. We got their and there were lots of people there. That means few camping sites big enough for us. But, we finally decided on one and got set up. Ate some lunch and then we were off for a ride. Got back and waited for my mom to show up so we could eat some dinner. Dallon complained the whole time about his arm hurting so I finally gave in to give him some medicine. Saturday morning, we got up and took the kids fishing for awhile. Dallon still complained about his arm. I tried to tell him to toughen up but Grandpa is a softy so more medicine to get him through the day. Then it was off for a nice and relaxing ride to Dixie and back. It was pretty warm, so we let the kids play in the creek half way. Got into Dixie and had a short visit with some good friends. Chet and Cindy let the kids feed the fish in the creek. Then we were off for the ride back. Dallon decided to go fishing again for about 2 hours. After dinner, I got his jammies on him and he decided he wanted to sleep in the tent with Kim. He loved it. We might have to invest in one. Then Sunday, we chose to take a not so relaxing ride. We rode to Buffalo Hump. The best way I can describe it is like riding on a very rocky creek bed with no water. Yes, it was rough. Toddy hated it which made it very hard to ride. I eventually had to have Kim drive us down the mountain. But, it was a great experience. One, I will probably never do again. We got home about 8:30 Sunday night. It was a great weekend and we had so much fun riding.

Oh, and the shots, Dallon is still complaining about them and never wants to get them again!!!!
