Comparing Tummies

Dallon has been playing with the baby almost every night this week. He thinks it is really funny. He will giggle for at least 20 minutes or until the baby has had enough. Well last night he wanted to compare our tummies and take a picture. So, he took a picture of my tummy and I took a picture of his tummy. I think mine is bigger, but his is way cuter. See if you can tell the difference. Oh, by the way, enjoy the picture of my tummy. It will be the last one you see. I am not to fond of letting people see it. And yes, Dallon did take that picture all on his own.

Daddy got us a new toy

While Rick was at work this time, he purchased a new toy for Dallon and I. He bought us a playstation 2. I have been asking for one for awhile and he kept telling me no. I really wanted some kids games that Dallon and I could play together. Well, we got the Playstation 2 yesterday, but I was gonna wait till Rick got home on Thursday to hook it up. Dallon couldn't stand it being in the box, so I hooked it up this morning. We didn't get Shrek the Third like Rick ordered, but we got Rick's Nascar game. Dallon is absolutely loving it.

Rick even called this evening and woke Dallon up by asking him if he wanted to race cars. I was so mad. I had tried to wake him up for an hour.

Update on Injured Toe

Dallon insisted last night that I take a picture of his toe that he cut on Saturday. There is some dead skin that needed to be taken off and a slight scab from the cut. I convinced him today to take the dead skin off. Here is a picture of his toe. You might need to look really hard for the cut. It is at the bottom of his big toe. I guess I am not a very good mom. I don't have much sympathy for him. I laugh when he acts like he is dying cause of his toe. There are other times he doesn't even remember it is there.

Time Change

So, the time change has been very difficult in our house. Dallon just can't figure out that we need to sleep past 5:30 in the morning. His theory is, if it is not dark outside then we should be awake. Sunday he was up at 5:30 and ready to go about the day. Yesterday, he was up at 4:30. So, I gave him a 2 hour nap. I thought maybe if he stayed up later then he would sleep longer. Yeah right!!! He was up at 5:30 this morning. So we tried another nap today. He slept for almost 4 hours. Maybe, just maybe, I might convince him to sleep in until 6:30 tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!!!! If it doesn't work his dad will be home Thursday night. That means he can get up with him.

War Wounds

Dallon has had it rough the past few days. He has three faint wounds to show it. I have to say though, he is pretty tough. On Thursday evening, he fell on his tike bike. He hit the handle bar. It would not have been a problem, except that he took off the rubber grips that covered the ends. So now he has a half circle bruise across his nose. This morning it almost looks green. Maybe now he will pick up his toys and leave the protective parts on them.

Friday, while we were eating lunch at my parents house, he was riding his four-wheeler. Not a problem, he had his helmet on. Well, he went over the side of a hill and the four-wheeler rolled over on him. Good thing they are light. I went and picked it up and he insisted on still riding. There were tears rolling down his face and he said he hurt. But, there was no way he was getting off. He got a little scrape on his back. I think it is gone now. I think his ego must have hurt worse.

Yesterday, while I was at the wrestling tournament, he got hurt at my parents. He cut the bottom of his toe on a piece of wood. I think he just like bandaids and his Aunt Kimmy spoiling him. It isnt that bad.

I am beginning to believe I need to put the boy in a bubble. Otherwise, he might just end up being all bumps and bruises. Oh well, boys will be boys.

The Big Helper

Dallon and I decided to spend the day with my dad today. We knew that he would be setting up for the wrestling tournament tomorrow. So Dallon and I watched them move the mats to the school. Dallon then proceded to roll them up and then unroll them. He wrestled anybody that would wrestle him. He would run around and just giggle. He had a blast. But, by 2:00 he was wore out. So, we came home. I am making cookies right now and Dallon is resting and watching a movie. We are going to go back over to my parents house later because Dallon is going to spend the night. He is going to spend the day with my sister tomorrow while I work at the wrestling tournament. They are suppose to go to the park, ride the four-wheeler, and watch movies. Should be a fun day for him!!

Halloween

I took Dallon to trick or treat both of his grandparents houses. He was more excited about his costume than getting candy. Although, he got enough goodies too last awhile. He was determined that he was gonna get to wrestle grandpa though. That is really what he thought we were doing. He didnt get to wrestle, but maybe next time.

I love how the headgear makes his cheeks look pudgy. They really aren't that fat. Thank you Grandpa for letting us borrow the headgear. We also had sweats to wear over his singlet.
